Description
The Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W is the latest iteration in the Raspberry Pi lineup, maintaining its trend of technological advancements in a compact form. With dimensions of only 65mm by 30mm and offered at an economical price, the Zero 2 W is designed for efficiency. Boasting wireless LAN and Bluetooth capabilities, it’s an ideal choice for embedded IoT projects. The Pi Zero 2 W emphasizes flexibility and compactness with mini connectors and an unpopulated 40-pin GPIO, allowing customization for specific project needs.
At its core, the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W features a 1GHz BCM2710A1 with a 64-bit ARM Cortex-A53 CPU and 512MB of RAM. Remarkably, it is about four times faster than the original Raspberry Pi and is cost-effective compared to the current RPi3. The design incorporates a Raspberry Pi-designed system-in-package, integrating the BCM2710A1 die used in the Raspberry Pi 3 with 512MB of RAM. Additionally, the Zero 2 W includes a HAT-compatible 40-pin header, composite video and reset pins via solder test points, a CSI camera connector, and a Video Core IV GPU for enhanced graphics capabilities.
