The 24-bit HX711 Weighing Sensor Module is a versatile, high-performance weight scale sensor designed for precise weight measurement applications. It serves as a compatible and improved option for the Arduino UNO R3, offering enhanced functionality and accuracy.

The HX711 Module is a small breakout board that integrates a dual-channel 24-bit precision A/D weight pressure sensor load cell amplifier and ADC. It allows for easy measurement of weight by reading the changes in load cell resistance when connected to a microcontroller. The module features a selectable gain PGA with 32, 64, and 128 options to amplify signals, an on-chip oscillator for timing without external components, and a power-on-reset circuit. With a measurement resolution of 24 bits, it provides highly accurate weight measurements.

Load cells are connected to the module using a four-wire Wheatstone bridge, typically color-coded as red, black, white, green, and yellow. The yellow wire serves as an optional input for grounding and shielding against external electromagnetic interference (EMI), but it is not directly connected to the load cell strain gauge.
