Description

The 74HC4067 is a versatile 16-channel analog and digital multiplexer (MUX) IC that supports both analog and digital signals and is compatible with 3.3V and 5V logic. It features fast switching, low ON resistance, and operates within a wide voltage range of 2V to 6V. The 74HC4067 is a versatile IC with 16 bi-directional channels that can function as a multiplexer or demultiplexer. It handles both analog and digital signals. The module allows routing one of 16 input channels to a single output or vice versa. It can manage signals from analog sensors, potentiometers, switches, digital sensors, or even serial communications.

S0-S3 address lines select one of the 16 channels and connect it to the input/output pin (SIG). It employs binary addressing, so address 0000 corresponds to Channel 0 and address 1111 corresponds to Channel 15. We measured 60 ohms using a 5V power supply. The maximum current through any of the channels is 25mA.
