Description

The MSP-EXP430FR2433 Launchpad Development Kit is a comprehensive evaluation module (EVM) centered on the MSP430FR2433 Value Line Sensing microcontroller (MCU), providing a complete solution for developing on the ultra-low-power MSP430FR2x Value Line Sensing MCU platform. It features an onboard debug probe to streamline tasks such as programming, debugging, and energy measurements.

Operating within a voltage range of 1.8V to 3.6V, it employs a 16-bit RISC architecture with a system clock of up to 16 MHz and 8 MHz FRAM access. Memory specifications encompass 15KB of program FRAM, 512 KB of information FRAM, and 4KB of RAM. Peripheral features include an 8-channel 10-bit ADC, four 16-bit timers, a 32-bit hardware multiplier (MPY), and 19 GPIOs. Communication interfaces consist of two enhanced universal serial communication interfaces (eUSCI_A) supporting UART, IrDA, and SPI, along with one eUSCI (eUSCI_B) supporting SPI and I2C.

Features

  1. It leverages ULP FRAM technology through the MSP430FR2433 16-bit MCU.
  2. EnergyTrace Technology is available for ultra-low-power debugging.
  3. Adhering to the 20-pin LaunchPad kit standard, it ensures compatibility with the BoosterPack ecosystem.
  4. Onboard components include an eZ-FET debug probe, 2 buttons, and 2 LEDs for user interaction.

Package Contents

The kit includes one MSP-EXP430FR2433 LaunchPad Development Kit, one Micro USB Cable, and one Quick Start Guide.
