Description

Arduino Pro mini board is widely used in embedded systems because this board has the necessary onboard components with a small form factor and low power consumption. This is open-source hardware. This can be powered with an FTDI cable or breakout board connected to its six-pin header, or with a regulated 5V supply on the Vcc pin.

The ATmega328P has 32 kB of flash memory for storing code (of which 0.5 kB is used for the bootloader). It has 2 kB of SRAM and 1kBs of EEPROM (which can be read and written with the EEPROM library. Each of the 14 digital pins on the Pro Mini can be used as an input or output, using pinMode(), digitalWrite(), and digitalRead() functions.

These 14 digital input/output pins (6 can be used as PWM outputs), 6 analog inputs, 1 16MHz on-board resonator, 1 reset button pin, and holes for mounting pin headers. A six-pin title can be connected to an FTDI cable to provide USB power and communication to the board. The pin layout is compatible with the Mini Arduino.

The Arduino Pro Mini has several facilities for communicating with a computer, another Arduino, or other microcontrollers, and the Arduino Pro Min Price is also less. The ATmega328P provides UART TTL serial communication, available on digital pins 0 (RX) and 1 (TX). The Arduino software includes a serial monitor that allows simple textual data to be sent to and from the Arduino board via a USB connection.
