Description
The Active 3.3V 5V Buzzer Alarm Module Sensor is a module that can be used for generating audio alerts or alarms. It operates on a voltage range of 3.3V to 5V, making it compatible with both 5V microcontrollers and 3.3V microcontrollers.
The module comes with a 3-pin cable for easy connectivity. The three pins on the module are labeled as follows:
- VCC: This pin is used for supplying power to the module. You can connect it to an external power source within the voltage range of 3.3V to 5V. If you are using a 5V microcontroller, you can directly connect this pin to the 5V power supply of the microcontroller. If you are using a 3.3V microcontroller, connect it to the 3.3V power supply of the microcontroller.
- GND: This pin is the ground connection for the module. Connect it to the ground (GND) of your microcontroller or any other common ground.
- I/O: This pin serves as both an input and an output interface for the module and is connected to the I/O (input/output) port of your microcontroller. You can control the module by sending high and low signals from the microcontroller to this pin. The module will generate sound when it receives a signal.
The module uses a 9012 transistor to drive the buzzer. The bolt holes on the module make it convenient for mounting and installation. This module is an active buzzer module that can be controlled by a microcontroller. It requires a power supply in the range of 3.3V to 5V, and it has three pins for VCC, GND, and I/O connectivity.
