Description
TNY267 is a Tiny Switch-II that combines a 700V power MOSFET, oscillator, high-voltage switched current source, current limit, and thermal shutdown in one unit. It directly uses DRAIN pin voltage for start-up and operation, eliminating the need for extra components. It includes auto-restart, line under-voltage sensing, and frequency jittering features. The design minimizes audible noise and integrates fault protection, reducing costs. An optional external resistor sets a line under the voltage threshold. Operating at 132 kHz with frequency jittering reduces EMI and filtering costs.
