Description

The SN04-N NPN NO 5mm Distance Detector Proximity Sensor Switch Module functions with a voltage input ranging from 10 to 30V and has a maximum current usage of 5mA. Utilizing inductive technology, it detects metallic objects up to a distance of 5mm, with some variation based on the object’s shape, size, and metal composition. Moreover, it can penetrate thin, non-metallic materials for detection.

The sensor module’s cable is 145cm long, and it boasts an IP67 protection rating, ensuring durability and versatility for diverse applications. Its response frequency is at a maximum of 500Hz, and it offers features such as reverse power and short circuit protection, allowing for direct PLC connectivity. The sensor module is equipped with a red LED that indicates its status, lighting up upon power connection and brightening further upon detecting an object. The wire connections involve a brown wire for 10 ~ 30 VDC (+Ve), a blue wire for 0 V (GND), and a black wire for the signal.

This proximity sensor demonstrates high precision in repeated positioning, operates at a high switching frequency, accommodates a wide voltage range, and provides resistance against vibration, dust, water, and oil.
