Description
The nRF24L01 Wireless Communication Module offers seamless data transmission and reliable connectivity in the 2.4GHz operating band. This module offers effective and rapid communication between devices with data speeds ranging from 250Kbps to 2Mbps. With an array of 125 RF channels spaced 1MHz apart, this module covers a wide frequency range from 2.400GHz to 2.525GHz. This enables the creation of networks with up to 125 separate transceivers, allowing for smooth communication between several devices at the same time.
The nRF24L01 is an easy-to-use device that runs at 3.3V and has 5V tolerant I/O. This indicates that there is no need for any logic-level converters when connecting it straight to a 5V Arduino or other microcontroller. This module uses 5 signal pins. The MOSI, MISO, and SCK pins on the SPI bus are connected to the appropriate SPI pins on the microcontroller to enable smooth communication. The module’s standby/active modes, as well as toggling between transmission and command mode, are controlled by the CSN and CE pins.

Pin connection
- GND – Ground. Connect to the ground on the microcontroller
- VCC – 1.9 – 3.6V. Typically connected to 3.3V on the microcontroller unless an adapter module is being used.
- CE – Chip Enable. Sets whether the module is in RX or TX mode.
- CSN – SPI Chip Select
- SCK – SPI Clock

- IRQ – Maskable Interrupt
