Description

The IRF520 N channel MOSFET Module is a versatile electronic component designed for high-power device control in various projects. It features an IRF520 N channel MOSFET, known for efficient switching of high currents and voltages.

Its switch loads up to 24V at 5A and is 5V compatible with some derating. It is commonly used for controlling motors, fans, LEDs, and other devices. The load should be connected across V+ and V- with the correct polarity, and the power supply (up to 24V) should be connected across Vin and GND.

The module features a 5V compatible active HIGH ‘SIG’ control input, which can be driven up to 10V for full saturation of the IRF520 MOSFET. A green LED indicator lights up when SIG is active HIGH. The module includes a 1K pull-down resistor for the transistor to be off during microcontroller power-up with floating outputs.
