Description

The ATmega2560 is a potent 8-bit microcontroller by Atmel, employing enhanced RISC architecture for efficient execution of instructions in a single clock cycle, achieving nearly 1 MIPS per MHz and enabling power optimization. The Mega Pro Embed CH340G / ATmega2560 board is built on this microcontroller and features a USB-UART interface using CH340G, offering stability for projects on welding prototype boards. It mirrors the functionalities of the Mega 2560, utilizing the original chip, a 16 MHz quartz resonator, and the CH340G for UART-USB conversion. The board supports power through Micro USB or pins, with a voltage regulator accepting 6V to 9V (peak 18V) DC, but exceeding these values is discouraged to prevent heat damage.
