Description

The ZXTR2005Z is a compact solution, integrating a transistor, Zener diode, and resistor for high voltage linear regulation with a 5V output at 15mA. Specifically designed for high voltage scenarios where standard linear regulators are unsuitable, it comes in a space-efficient SOT89 package, minimizing PCB area and reducing component count. Applications include supply voltage regulation in DC-DC converters, networking, telecommunications, and Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) setups. The device, fully RoHS compliant, adheres to AEC-Q101 standards for high reliability, featuring a linear regulator design with a 150kΩ resistor for quiescent current control. The package, made of a “green” molding compound, has a UL flammability rating of 94V-0 and weighs approximately 0.052 grams.
