Description

The Mini PIR Motion Sensor Detector Module SR602 is commonly used as an infrared sensor for various applications such as lights, alarms, and automated security equipment. It provides a sensing distance of 3-5m, with a recommended sensing distance of 0–3 m for optimal performance. The module operates exclusively during the night, although it can be modified by adding a photodiode to the S+ and S-tabs for extended functionality. Its compact board diameter of 10mm offers adjustable sensitivity and delays through SMD resistor replacement. The module supports an input voltage range of 3.3–15V DC and has a low quiescent current of 20 uA. The signal output is located next to the positive voltage tab, where a high signal corresponds to 3.3V and a low signal corresponds to 0V.
