Description
The MCT2/MCTE family comprises standard single-channel phototransistor couplers, offering compatibility with common logic families and a low input-output coupling capacitance (<0.5 pF). They come in a 6-pin package with a high 5300 VRMS isolation test voltage and meet UL and DIN EN standards. These couplers find applications in AC mains detection, reed relay driving, and more, utilizing gallium arsenide infrared LEDs and silicon NPN phototransistors for isolation. They are available for surface mounting, provided on tape and reel, or in standard tube containers.
