Description
The M24C16 is a 16-bit I2C-compatible EEPROM featuring compatibility with I2C bus modes at 400 kHz and 100 kHz. It includes a 16-bit (2-byte) memory array with a 16-byte page size and operates on a single supply voltage. The M24C16-W supports a supply voltage range of 2.5 V to 5.5 V, the M24C16-R operates within 1.8 V to 5.5 V, and the M24C16-F can be accessed with a supply voltage from 1.7 V to 5.5 V (full temperature range) or from 1.6 V to 1.7 V (limited temperature range). Notable features include quick write times, an extended operating temperature range, random and sequential read modes, write protection for the entire memory array, enhanced ESD/latch-up protection, over 4 million write cycles, and over 200-year data retention.
