Description
The LM2596/LM2596S Power Supply DC-DC Buck Converter Step-Down Module is a step-down (buck) switching regulator capable of driving a 3-A load with excellent line and load regulation. These devices come with fixed output voltages of 3.3 V, 5 V, and 12 V, as well as the ability to convert a wide input voltage range of 4.5 V to 40 V into a stable and adjustable output voltage, making them ideal for various applications.
Because the LM2596 series operates at a switching frequency of 150 kHz, smaller-sized filter components are possible than with lower-frequency switching regulators. This is an LM2596 DC-DC buck converter step-down power module with a high-precision potentiometer that can drive a load of up to 3A with high efficiency and is compatible with the Free Arduino UNO, other mainboards, and basic modules. Please add a heat sink if the output current remains greater than 2.5A (or the output power remains greater than 10W).
