Description

The LM7805 is a widely used positive voltage regulator in electronic circuits, providing a regulated output of +5V with a 2% regulation tolerance. It requires a minimum input voltage of +7V to ensure a clean +5V output, dissipating excess voltage as heat and necessitating a heat sink for proper operation.
