Description
The tilt sensor module covers a voltage range of 3.3V to 12V, featuring a fixed bolt hole for easy installation. Utilizing a wide voltage LM393 comparator, it can output a maximum current of 15mA. This versatility extends to reliable performance even under low voltage conditions.
Designed for user-friendliness, it only requires a power supply for operation. Once attached to an object, it effectively detects tilting using an SW-460D or SW-520D tilt sensor, employing a ball-rolling mechanism. Facilitating effortless attachment to diverse objects, it includes a handy M3 mounting hole and demonstrates high sensitivity for tilt detection. The module integrates power and status LEDs, providing clear visual indications of its operation.
Output-wise, it signals a logic LOW when untitled below the threshold angle but switches to logic HIGH upon tilting beyond this angle. The tilt angle spans from 45 degrees to 130 degrees, contingent on angular velocity. Additionally, it functions adeptly as a vibration sensor.
Connecting the module’s output directly to a microcontroller (MCU) allows for level detection and monitoring angle changes in the environment. Its compatibility with various microcontrollers like PIC and Arduino series renders it suitable for tilt detection applications.
